All specialist that are Jr Explorer certified on this site do not work for Jr Explorers of America or Jr World Explorers. Every specialist on this site to be considered Jr Explorer certified has passed a 50 state background check, and specialist that provides sports related services have also successfully gone through Safe Sport Certifications.

We do this because it can become costly for parents to do background check on everyone that works with their child(s); therefore, When a guardian finds a specialist on Jr Explorer of America’s website with the Jr Explorer Certified badge next to their listing, they know they have been vetted. All specialist will have a background check done each and every year.

These checks are done through our partnership with Players Health.
